Weblodge

Weblodge is a website development platform built using PHP and MySQL. Weblodge offers the ability to design and maintain your website without buying any expensive software packages or learning HTML. Editing pages using Weblodge is as simple as sending an email. Because Weblodge uses databases to store your data, your webpage becomes extremely flexible and easy to update.

Development

Weblodge is still in the development stages. A working prototype has been developed and is being used to power Kuhnline.com. Before it is ready for beta testing there are several core features that remain to be developed including the file management modules and extensions like a blog tool and a photo gallery.

Weblodge is also designed to be used in multiple hosting environments so that many websites can be maintained on one server with one installation of weblodge.

Weblodge is designed to be both easy to use and easy to install, needing only a few configuration options set before the first use. In addition, Weblodge is able to automatically create and update all the necessary database tables it needs to correctly operate. Once a site is correctly configured the rest is controlled by the weblodge system.
